LAMBDA System 2: -55°C to +220°C

LAMBDA System 2: Thermal conducitvity of fluids from -55°C to +220°C.
LAMBDA System 2: Thermal conducitvity of fluids from -55°C to +220°C.

The LAMBDA System measures the thermal conductivity of fluids according to ASTM D 2717. It is also very suitable to measure the thermal conductivity of fluids and dispersions containing nanoparticles (nanofluids).

The sample temperature is controlled by a special double-jacket heating/cooling device which provides a homogeneous temperature distribution. It can be connected to any circulation thermostat.

Further Characteristics:

  • Thermostats for temperatures from -55°C to +220°C available
  • Temperature ramps and sweeps possible
  • Measurements under pressure and inert gas flushing possible
  • Windows software for control and data visualisation

Applications:

  • Optimization of fluid application and development
  • Quality control
  • Nanofluids
