Thermal Conductivity of Solids and Semi-Solids

TK System: Thermal conductivity of solids and semi-solids.
TK System: Thermal conductivity of solids and semi-solids.

The TK thermal conductivity measuring system is designed for fast and high precision thermal conductivity testing where steady state methods are too time-consuming and conventional transient methods do not meet the accuracy requirements. The system is based on the widely-used transient line-source method (ASTM D 5930 and ASTM D 5334).

A new analytical data evaluation method has been developed which achieves an excellent accuracy of ± 2% and does not require any reference or calibration tests. This makes your tests not just more accurate but also faster.

The application range covers solids and semi-solids, fragments, powder and even high viscous liquids. Two-phase measurements with powders and fragments are possible.

Interchangeable needle (full-space) and half-space probes make this instrument flexible for solid, semisolid, two-phase or porous samples.

The instrument is used in many areas, e.g. civil engineering, geophysics, chemical industry and food industry.
